Full Moon in Taurus: October 31st 2020 (10:50AM ET/7:50AM PT)

Our second Full Moon for October, and on Halloween too, oh boy! The Taurus Full Moon wants us to slow things down, take a beat, and press pause on everything. That might be a good idea with the wonky energy that most of October brings us, so long as we don't get stuck and become stubborn about it. Being more present can help us to get grounded and see what we're missing, so this can be helpful. Take advantage of that.    We may be more sensitive to what others have to say and think about us, and we need to have better opinions of ourselves so we're not listening to others as much. We can identify more strongly with our values, and can work to live according to them. We just need to make sure we're finding value in ourselves too. And Taurus Full Moons usually do = indulgence, fyi! The Full Moon is conjunct (aligned with) transit Uranus in Taurus. This brings extra focus on the future, on change, and on our hopes and dreams, and might make this full moon less stable (since Uranus is unstable). We can make progress with future dreams and come together for a common cause, but we have to do so in a way that is practical and where we're okay with slow and steady progress (Taurus). Less impulse and impatience, more grounding and calm.

Because the Hunter’s Moon is the second Full Moon in the month of October, it is also considered a “Blue Moon.” This term refers either to the second Full Moon to occur within a single calendar month or to the third Full Moon in a calendar season. The Hunter’s Moon will be the smallest Full Moon of the year—a so-called “minimoon“—thanks to it being farther away from Earth than any other Full Moon in 2020. As you might have guessed, a minimoon is the opposite of a supermoon. This phenomenon is caused by the Moon’s oval-shaped orbit around Earth, which results in the Moon being farther and closer to the Earth at different points in its orbit. (The closest and farthest points in the Moon’s orbit are called perigee and apogee, respectively.)

Remote Crystal Reiki is a combination of universal light projection, invocation of traditional Reiki symbols, healing crystals and stones. During this treatment, a healing grid is invoked and chakras are cleared and activated. When combined with the powerful Full Moon in Taurus on October 31st, you supercharge your Full Moon ceremonies and your intentions.

To receive the healing energy of Reiki during this distance session. Simply begin to tune inward about 5 - 10 minutes before the session. You can sit in a comfy, quiet, meditative corner surrounded by your softest blankets and pillows. Maybe light an incense for yourself and brew a nice hot cup of cacao or indulge in this month's moon milk recipe to elevate the intention, aesthetic and atmosphere. You can choose to sit in a meditative position, or lay down. Truly do what's best for your body at this time, this session lasts one hour, so you'll want to be comfortable. Close your eyes and allow yourself to relax. Breathe and allow yourself to be with anything that comes up for you.

Note: While many who receive Remote Reiki sit comfortably still or lie down for sessions, this is not necessary to receive the healing energy of Reiki.

This Remote Crystal Reiki session will begin at 6 PM Mountain time and last approximately one hour. There will be a crystal grid set up to continue igniting the healing power of reiki being sent to you throughout the entire week (October 31st - November 7th)
